Balaybay, Philippines
In 1979 a young couple from Calvary Church, Ian and Pauline with their son Simon, went out to the Philippines as missionaries and started the work which became San Antonio AOG Church, which today is situated on the National Main Highway at West Dirita, San Antonio, under the care of E. Femia.
In the same year Pastor Ceney of Calvary Church went out to the Philippines and during a crusade meeting in which he was preaching, a young man Wilson Ladringan gave his life to the Lord and later went to Bible School. He went on to form a church orphanage and a school at Rabanes.
When Mount Pinatubo erupted everything was destroyed and subsequently they all became refugees. They started again at Balaybay on the side of a mountain and today cater for over 100 Aeta children and natives. http://www.aetaministries.com/
Pastor Wilson is a teacher by profession and the church school now has government approval. His wife Cora is a UK trained nurse.
Today, after nearly 30 years Pauline Williams who was sent from Calvary Church in Brownhills, still raises funds from both Brownhills and Walsall churches.
Last year Calvary Church raised the money to help build a clinic at Balaybay for
the Aeta people and also to help upgrade the church, Sunday-
In 2008 the project to buy a rice field for the Aeta Children’s Home at Balaybay has now been accomplished. In June a rice field of 7631 square metres was purchased, and the good news is that it is just at the back of the ministry compound. This will help to ensure that for years to come there will always be sufficient food for the children and staff. Glory to God!
All the money donated is passed on in full as Pauline and John pay for all costs including those for administration. Please contact us if you would like to make a donation to this ministry.
This is an email sent after the heavy rains and typhoons which affected most parts of the Philippines in 2010.

Dear brother John, sister Pauline, and all our friends in England,
Warmest Christian love and greetings!
So glad to inform you that we have harvested 48 sacks of palay (rice) from the ricefield. Although there were strong rains and typhoons that passed, the Lord has protected our crop and gave us a good harvest. Praise the Lord.
The children are drying them because they got wet during the time of harvest. After drying, we will bring them to the ricemill. Thank you very much for being God's wonderful instrument in blessing His work here in the Philippines. The ricefield provided by the Lord through your love and generosity is now a blessing to His work here. God richly bless and reward you in return.
In His marvelous love,
Wilson and Cora
